First Spanish-German Symposium on Applied Computer Science

Cádiz, December 2014

Presentation

We are proud to announce the First Spanish-German Symposium on Applied Computer Science. This event, which is organized in its first edition under the umbrella of the UCASE Software Engineering Research Group, is born to celebrate ongoing fruitful collaboration in the area of applied Computer Science between the University of Cádiz and Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences.

The program includes six talks, ranging from applications of complex event processing applied to network analysis and surveillance to the latest research in mutation testing, and a round table. In its inception, the goal of the symposium is to present highly speculative research as a series of talks followed by open questions and debate.

We are happy to invite any student, researcher, or professional interested in the topics to join us and participate in the event. We hope this first edition will contribute to foster collaboration within the Spanish-German community of Computer Scientists, to strengthening interactions, and to increasing the quality of our current and future research.
